Main Characteristics

  • MKF150 is a five-axis Siemens CNC composite grinding machine. It can grind internal holes, external cylinders, end faces, and irregular curved surfaces in a single clamping. Online inspection and feedback compensation for dimensional accuracy are available after grinding.
  • Longitudinal movement of the worktable (Z-axis) and lateral movement of the grinding wheel (X-axis) are both driven by linear motors, with position control using linear encoders in a closed-loop system.
  • Both workpiece frame rotation (B1 axis) and grinding wheel frame rotation (B2 axis) use high-precision CNC rotary tables directly driven by torque motors. They can be hydraulically locked for machining or continuously rotated for processing.
  • The workpiece spindle (C-axis) is a high-precision, high-power motor spindle, enabling stepless speed variation, rapid start/stop, positioning at any angle, and three-axis interpolation.
  • The grinding wheel frame is equipped with one external grinding spindle, one internal grinding spindle, and a set of measuring devices, allowing automatic switching between the three positions.
  • The guideways for the longitudinal movement (Z-axis) and lateral movement (X-axis) use INA high-precision roller linear guideways.
  • Workpiece clamping uses a high-precision self-centering hydraulic chuck, with other specialized clamping methods available as options.
  • The machine is fully enclosed with an oil mist extraction device and reliable safety protection measures.

Main Application and Scope

This machine is mainly used for grinding internal holes, internal curved surfaces, external cylinders, external curved surfaces, and stepped end faces. It is a multi-purpose, high-precision, high-speed production grinding machine. The entire machining cycle can be automated, including automatic feed, automatic dressing, and automatic measurement.
